April 14, 2015: New hope for a Type 1 Diabetes Cure
Scientists have cured Type 1 diabetes in lab mice using drugs already on the market to treat cancer, a development that could have enormous implications for the more than one million diabetics in the U.S. NBC’s Robert Bazell reports.

Diabetes can be pretty sinister. The results of mismanagement won’t show immediately and simply taking your medication isn’t enough. Testing once a week isn’t enough. It will forestall things but it won’t prevent the complications you’re destined for.
